In preparation of upcoming hiring initiatives, we are looking for a Plant Maintenance Manager: Gerente de Mantenimiento de Planta to join our client's teams! 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead, Organize and Manage the Maintenance Team.
  • Maintain, PM, repair/troubleshoot production/plant equipment and facility.
  • Works Safely with 480 volts and Below.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Fabrication (able to weld, use band-saw, drill etc...).
  • Work in accordance with Lockout/Tag out procedures, technical manuals, maintenance procedures and operating procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment. Order Parts and supplies applicable to facility and equipment.
  • Maintain and repairs maintenance shop and equipment.
  • Maintain a computerized maintenance management system (Hippo CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
  • Prepare reports of work completed, PM's, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows office programs.
  • Communicates regularly with Management and Technicians.
  • Assist to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Assist in maintain, and enforce the safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures for the maintenance department.
  • Communicate with production Leads and Production Manager to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
  • Flexible "day shift" schedule.
