We are seeking a Systems Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for providing IT support for the company's SaaS software services using various Microsoft technologies and 3rd party software. Support the company's office equipment, internal team and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of IT team supporting network (LAN and WiFi), server, storage, desktop and telecommunications systems
  •  Setup and assign new laptop and desktop computers as well as maintaining and restoring current equipment
  •  Support servers and production application software
  • Participate in the The company Security Committee, recommend and implement security technologies
  • Setup, configure, troubleshoot, and repair printers, Mitel phones, and other office hardware
  • Setup and maintain Office365 email and SharePoint environment
  • Perform user onboarding and system decommissioning tasks for both corporate and remote location
  • Troubleshooting personal computer issues, both hardware and software related in Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 AD integrated environment
  • Make decisions and implement resolutions or workarounds to production systems that are customer impacting
  • Communicate the status of open issues and projects to the team and other affected parties
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate person(s) if unable to resolve an issue
  • Troubleshoot network and server related issues including hardware related issues
  • Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues with custom written and 3rd-party applications
  • Communicate to leadership team security, infrastructure and production incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Web and SQL-Server based software integration with network, servers and storage
  • Able to perform 7x24 on-call duties on rotating basis with IT team
  • Setup and maintain third party software
  • Install and monitor anti-virus on workstations and servers
  • Work with 3rd party vendors on office improvements and office building related issues
  • Document processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server/Workstation environment tools and troubleshooting
  • Good team interaction skills
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Able to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly and keep up with changing technology
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Printer setup and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to remain calm and collected in high pressure situations
  • Ability to step back and consider the side effects of a potential solution
  • The ability to explain and work with non-technical users on very technical issues
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 20012
  • Knowledge of Active Directory tools
  • Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
  • Ability and confidence to support users and systems remotely
  • Knowledge of remote connection tools such as Remote Desktop, GoToMeeting, LogMeIn, etc.
  • Willingness and desire to see an issue through to resolution on any day of the week at any time of the day
  • Knowledge of Office 365 a plus
  • Knowledge of networking devices and protocols a plus
  • Knowledge of server storage subsystems a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft technologies
  • 3+ years working in IT development and/or technical support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server technologies AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, backup and recovery concepts, and performance tuning
  • Working knowledge of hardware, including RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc.
  • Working knowledge of shell scripting
