We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
  • Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines
  • Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately
  • Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
  • Prepare and review a variety of complex financial data
  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
  • Perform revenue and expense forecasts in order to make financial decisions
  • Analyze trends in revenues and expenses
  • Prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and charts to help illustrate financial trends
  • Collaborate with and otherwise support all functional areas of the company
  • Develop tools for improving the forecasting variance reporting process
  • Provide pricing analysis and administration support to the Sales function
  • Provide support as needed to corporate managers
  • Prepare monthly financial review material (both internal management as well as BOD)
  • Interact with Senior Management including CEO, COO and CFO on all matters pertinent to internal financial reporting
  • Support company Food Safety efforts through commitment and compliance to SQF standard practices and policies
  • Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s
  • Perform month-end client valuation for assigned funds  
  • Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options
  • Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
  • Prepare profit and loss models
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Must be able to think and act strategically, as well as execute tactically.
  • Must possess excellent organization skills
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must possess advance proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Must possess good project management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
